In the 1800's young ladies loved to create a string of buttons called a "Charm" string. It began with one large button called a "touch" button at the start, then family and friends would give their loveliest buttons to be added to the string. After 1000 buttons were added, it is said the young lady would be claimed by her own Prince Charming!

 

Embellished with 24 Antique Victorian Black Glass Buttons, this 8" Sterling Silver, double-link charm Bracelet is just gorgeous. The Buttons are Black Glass, most are ball~shaped with a metal loop shank. The majority of the buttons have a Carnival Luster finish, glowing with purples, blues, reds, pinks, yellows and greens when the light shines on them. This piece glimmers especially in candlelight! They shimmer and shine, and are highly collectible.

The patterns include lovely Floral designs and Star patterns, the sizes range from 3/8" ~ 1/2". A crab claw clasp allows for the length to be tightened as needed.
