Wonderful early 1900s Victorian Embroidery Lace Reticule or Bag. This sweet little bag has a bright blue velvet lining, it closes with French Silk Ribbon. The lace is exquisitely made, the darker lining really shows every hand~made stitch. I believe the edging is "Cluny" lace.

 

This piece is in good condition for it's age (like us!) but is not for the perfectionist, there are a few little parts that have detached, I have tried to show this in the pictures. There are also one or two tiny old repairs. The ribbon is very delicate, but this could easily be replaced. It is tied in a knot at the very top, for a very short "handle". Perfect for a Bride, or a Bridal Collection
